What Yorlo is

Questions, thoughts and weird ideas, instead of scrolling. A question with no easy answer, a choice you’ll want to defend, a thought you’ll still be carrying around by lunch. Pick a side, and Yorlo answers back.

Getting around

Notifications

If you allow them, Yorlo finds you a few times a day — three or four Yorlos, at times chosen for your device inside your waking hours, never overnight, and at least two and a half hours apart. Each one opens the exact Yorlo it mentions. No two devices get the same day. To stop them, turn off notifications for Yorlo in iOS Settings; the app keeps working without them.

Your data

Everything you keep and answer stays on your phone — there’s no account and nothing to sign in to. If you allow notifications, the app registers your device so Yorlos can reach it; that registration is a push token, your time zone, and the app and iOS versions, and nothing else. Deleting the app deletes your data and ends notifications. Details: Privacy Policy.

Offline

Yorlo works offline. When you’re connected, it quietly picks up fresh content; when you’re not, it uses what it already has.

Starting over

Open You → Reset and confirm. This clears everything and returns Yorlo to a first-launch state. Deleting and reinstalling the app does the same.

Found a bug?

Email yorlohelp@yahoo.com with your device model, iOS version, and what happened — a screenshot helps. A real person reads every note.

Accessibility

Yorlo respects Reduced Motion and increased-contrast settings. If assistive technology hits a barrier, email us — accessibility notes go to the top of the pile.
